Copyright Ownership

All content that appears on dishverve.com—including, but not limited to, recipes, textual descriptions, photographs, graphics, illustrations, videos, audio clips, and any other media—has been created by our team of chefs, writers, photographers, and designers, or has been licensed from reputable third‑party providers. Each of these materials is protected by U.S. and international copyright law. The copyright for each individual item is held by the original creator or by dishverve, depending on the source and the terms of the license agreement. The entire body of content on dishverve is collectively owned by dishverve, except where a third‑party license expressly states otherwise.

Permitted Use

Users of dishverve are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to:

View, read, and print any recipe or other content for personal, non‑commercial use.
Share links to recipes or other pages on dishverve via social media, email, or other communication platforms.
Embed a recipe’s URL in a personal blog or website, provided the link remains visible and the embedded page is not modified.
Copy a single paragraph or short excerpt for the purpose of a brief review or commentary, in line with fair use doctrine, as long as the excerpt is not more than 100 words and is accompanied by a citation to dishverve.

All permitted uses must preserve the integrity of the original content, retain any watermarks or copyright notices, and must not alter the meaning or context of the original material. Users must not add any misleading or defamatory statements about dishverve or its contributors.

Prohibited Use

Any of the following actions are strictly prohibited unless you have obtained explicit, written permission from dishverve:

Reproducing, distributing, or publishing any recipe, image, or other content in its entirety or in substantial portions.
Modifying, translating, or creating derivative works based on any dishverve content without prior written consent.
Using dishverve content for commercial purposes, including but not limited to advertising, sponsorship, product placement, or affiliate marketing.
Republishing any content on another website, blog, or social media platform as if it were your own original work.
Removing or obscuring any copyright notices, watermarks, or attribution statements that appear on the content.
Using dishverve content in a manner that could be defamatory, harassing, or otherwise illegal.

Dishverve reserves the right to terminate user accounts and pursue legal remedies for any infringement, including but not limited to civil action and claims for statutory damages.

DMCA Compliance

Dishverve respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that a user has posted or shared content on dishverve that infringes your copyright, you may file a formal takedown notice with our designated Copyright Agent:

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, dishverve will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing content and will notify the user who posted it. Dishverve may also provide the user with a counter‑notice if they believe the removal was in error. Dishverve will not provide any additional information regarding the status of the takedown or the identity of the user who posted the content, except as required by law.
